You say that there are no trees where you live, but you are clearly surrounded by Joshua Trees.

An astute observation, however Joshua Trees are not actually trees. Nor is it a cactus, as the local PBS station would have you believe. It is actually part of the lilly family.

Your photo album sucks!

That is not a question, and I just replaced it with a better one that has medium thumbnails and opens photos in a seperate window.

What is the deal with the 'ice tube'?

I got an alluminum tube from the recycling buy-back center. It was at first supposed to be some component in this helecopter i was going to make. That never happened so it sat on the deck for a year or two. Then I noticed that it was the perfect diameter to hold a soda can (we has been contemplating the soda can launcher.) This was also never built, but soon after we decided that we would celebrate Festivus. We needed a pole, so we decided to use the alluminum tube. What happens is that we fill the tube with water and when it freezes, we know that it is time for Festivus. The photo album about the ice tube is the first succesful freezing marking the first Festivus. (Note: for some reason i cannot remember, we didnt actually celebrate festivus until the 2nd ice tube year.)

Why do you still have a link to ScriptGuys on your art site even though you sold the domain several years ago and it is now occupied by what appears to be some sort of spam site?

I figured I would leave it there for posterity. Also, they probably make a quality product.

On the art site you claim that you still have the code for the ROM site, but here you say that it no longer exists in any form

I beleive that the code did exist in one of three files: p.zip, sony.tar.gz, or backup.tar.gz. The problem is that each of these files were several gigs and instead of looking through them for stuff I don't care about I pulled a Max Power and deleted them.

Why does (whatever doesn't look right) not look right?

All of these things are a result of Internet Explorer being the worst browser known to man. It doesn't correctly support css 2. You would think that something that is 99% wide from the left and something that is 1% from the right would line up. And they do in every single browser that is not ie. You would also think that a div that was specified to be 55 pixels, or 5 pixels in height would be 55 pixels or 5 pixels in height. And they are in every browser that is not ie. In ie, however, divs appear to be random heights that have little to do with the height specification if there is no content in them such as in that thin decoration bar. So I had to put an image in so that ie could size it properly. As for the 'alex barrie', the font has some padding on top of and below it I think and ie automatically overwrote the specified size to account for it and made the div larger. The rest of the vertical incongruencies I cannot explain except to say that ie has different spacing than any other browser. I tried to put everything in an order (since the spacing problem propogates) and position that will make everything at least readable with every browser, meaning it is not perfect for any browser. If you want to get rid of ie I recommend Firefox. Of course the ideal solution would be to just get a mac.
